The Wavelynx APEX Reader is a next-generation access control RFID reader product suite that is built for enhanced durability, efficiency, and flexibility. Conceived for white-labeling and featuring a modernized design centered around augmenting your brand, the APEX reader platform leverages a metal cast mounting plate to offer maximum installation robustness. Four new form factors now also include a Mullion Keypad for greater versatility. Featuring advanced hardware upgrades, much reduced power consumption, expanded credential compatibility and security, and increased IP65+ outdoor rating. Key advancements such as an upgraded NFC chipset, increased tamper detection, and support for modern and legacy credentials future-proof the design. The communication protocol OSDP V2.2 verified and the APEX OSDP Autodetect feature allow for more convenient, secure, and cost effective installation upgrades. This combination guarantees the seamless upgrade from Wiegand to OSDP over the existing Wiegand wire. The APEX readers also feature a terminal block to make the installation more broadly standardized, and still offer the traditional pigtail as an optional accessory.
